- ➤ A fire gutted century-old Sells Hall on the King University campus Saturday — state officials are investigating the cause as crews from several counties fought the blaze and reported no injuries. WFHG

- ➤ Johnson City announced that Lansing Melbourne Group will redevelop the John Sevier Center and Downtown Centre into a boutique hotel — with shops, event spaces, dining and a rooftop bar — as part of a plan to boost downtown activity.
