- ➤ Applications for the Tennessee Governor's Response and Recovery Fund are now open to provide financial help for Hurricane Helene recovery and future disasters. Local governments, non-profits+businesses, farmers and foresters in 14 counties including Johnson must apply by May 31 using details from the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency’s website. WFHG

- ➤ Franklin Woods Community Hospital resumed services after a boiler failure disrupted operations over the past week—hospital officials said inpatient care, labor and delivery, and emergency admissions restarted on Monday at 1:15 p.m. Elective surgeries resumed on Tuesday and staff contacted patients about scheduling future procedures—Ballad Health confirmed full restoration.
