- ➤ TCATs, Northeast State Community College and ETSU signed two articulation agreements to create new transfer pathways for students — the agreements let students with TCAT credentials in welding, computer-aided design and administrative office technology transfer to Northeast State and then continue at ETSU for a bachelor’s degree. - ➤ Dr. Robert Sams, a former trumpet player at Elizabethton High School and lifelong Cyclones fan, donated $100,000 to the Betsy Band on October 29—his generous gift helped support the band's programs and honor its legacy. WCYB
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Tri-Cities Airport Authority launched a donation drive today to help support about 100 TSA & FAA workers who have been without full pay for a month because of the ongoing federal shutdown. Donations in the form of gift cards up to $20 will be accepted at the Airport Services Counter. WCYB
