- ➤ ETSU ended its homecoming weekend at the Mini Dome with the Scarecrow Skedaddle, drawing hundreds of families for races and games in support of Niswonger Children's Network. Participants ran a 5K, a one-mile race, and a modified race—each designed to give every child a chance to shine—and left with lasting memories. WCYB
- ➤ Fred Kemp, a Washington County-Johnson City EMS member who died Tuesday during a training exercise, will be honored with a visitation at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough on October 30 and 31 (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and a funeral service on Saturday, November 1 (12:00 to 2:00 p.m. for family reception and 2:00 p.m. service at Mt.
