- ➤ BWX Technologies, the parent of Erwin’s Nuclear Fuel Service, was awarded a $1.5 billion contract by US nuclear leaders to develop domestic uranium for naval defense. Its Erwin plant will build a uranium enrichment centrifuge experiment—completing permitting and facility preparation steps—to supply a domestic uranium source. WFHG
