  • Residents voiced their concerns at a community-led town hall held Thursday night as Abigail Honeycutt organized the meeting to let local leaders discuss issues such as the Sean Williams case, a proposed ordinance on alcohol cutoff, and bitcoin mining. The city commission did not attend and organizers said another forum will be held in October.  WCYB

  • Following today's game between the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds, the MLB Speedway Classic baseball field will be donated to ETSU — a move announced on NBC's Today.  WCYB
  • The Doughboys hosted the Play Ball initiative this morning in Johnson City where dozens of kids practiced baseball skills and received a souvenir bat and ball set—part of the MLB Speedway Classic designed to encourage young athletes to enjoy the game.  WCYB
