ETSU camp is part of a $29 million regional program that will boost local school children’s access to educational resources; the initiative will bring expanded benefits to Johnson City soon.

Since last July, SNAP rule changes have cut enrollment by over 100,000, making it harder for local families to get enough food and pushing food bank demand up (serving 90,000 people a year).
