A pedestrian was hit by a southbound vehicle while walking north along Highway 19E near Northeast Community Credit Union on Friday night at 9:40 p.m.+ they were taken to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment while the driver was unharmed.

The Johnson City Fire Department responded Saturday after a fire on the 1700 block of Lone Oak Road just after 9:15 p.m. that was contained to one condominium unit by 9:40 p.m., with one resident transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation & no other injuries were reported & the cause remains under investigation.
