The Appalachian Warriors Motorcycle Club will host its third annual benefit ride for three-year-old Samson Deloach, a Johnson City local diagnosed with Leukemia, on June 13 at their clubhouse on Bristol Hwy in Elizabethton as riders pay $20 and passengers $5 while donations are also accepted.

The Bonnie Kate Theater in Elizabethton celebrated a new marquee lighting on Friday as part of its 100th anniversary preview, and the fully renovated auditorium and bathrooms now welcome guests.
