  • Governor Bill Lee’s $2.5 million request to renovate the historic John Sevier building was cut from the final state budget last week. The Johnson City Development Authority is working with city officials and private developers (planning a boutique hotel and Downtown Centre redevelopment by spring 2028) to advance the project.  WFHG
  • TDOT is urging drivers to move over for highway workers during Work Zone Awareness Week (April 20-24) as part of a statewide campaign called Safe Actions Save Lives.  WCYB
