- ➤ Milligan University is hosting the 2025 AAC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships today at Kermit Tipton Stadium, a three-day event featuring over 500 student athletes. City leaders say the event will boost the local economy with more than $200,000 in direct visitor spending that could reduce property taxes for residents. WCYB

Coach Byron Kramer said the meet will let local and international athletes see what the team is like—helping future recruits get a close look at its competitive spirit. WCYB
- ➤ Earlier this week, the ETSU women’s golf team competed at Solina Golf Course in South Carolina during the SoCon Championship tournament and finished fourth overall—with breakout sophomore Brianna Castaldi placing 29th and teammates Sydney Harz and Alex Crafton finishing 12th and 37th respectively.
