- ➤ Timothy Blair, 55, posted a $250,000 bond and was released from jail on Tuesday night after being accused of shooting a police officer on March 12 in the 400 block of South Barton Street—he must wear an ankle monitor while prosecutors plan to revoke his bond at a hearing on March 27—. WCYB
- ➤ Police said a masked man in a silver sedan broke into Harmony Free Will Baptist Church early Tuesday — stealing tools and donations worth over $2,000 from an outdoor storage building — while the church helped Helene victims. WCYB

- ➤ In honor of Women's History Month, 87-year-old Inger Rikstad—living at Brookdale Senior Living Home—shared her journey from war-torn Norway to America for a better life as reported by News 5. She left Norway after World War II, later joined her husband in New York by learning English, starting a construction company, and raising a daughter; she will celebrate her birthday on April 7. WCYB
