- ➤ Online collections have raised over $6000 for funeral costs for Sullivan East student Lilly Jackson who died in a two-car crash on Tuesday, with funeral services set for March 25 at Rooty Branch Church + another student was injured in the accident. WFHG

- ➤ Johnson City Police Department said the officer (shot last week on South Barton Street) was released from the hospital Monday afternoon and will recover at home; the accused shooter (Timothy D. Blair) has been charged with attempted murder. WFHG

- ➤ Members from the Department of Education visited Tennessee High on Tuesday morning to see therapy dog Jingle — a Goldendoodle in training — work in the new dog grooming program that gives students hands-on career skills; Jingle is on track for full certification as a service animal while participating in the Animal Science class.
