GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Johnson County Long Term Recovery Group sent a two-page letter to Governor Bill Lee asking for funding to keep rebuilding homes after Helene. Director Becky Wright said the group gets 2-3 new cases daily and will fall behind without extra support. WCYB
- ➤ The First Tennessee Human Resource Agency, based in Johnson City, received more than $120,000 in state funding to upgrade its fleet management system that serves 140 vehicles which completed over 139,000 trips last year, and it will automate maintenance reminders & fully integrate the new system by next fiscal quarter.
